Dr. Michael Merhige

Michael Merhige, MD, FACC, is Board Certified in Cardiology and Internal Medicine, a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and Clinical Associate Professor of Nuclear Medicine at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he directs the Nuclear Cardiology Fellowship program.

Dr. Merhige has trained and practiced at the University of Kentucky, the Mayo Clinic and the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. While at the University of Texas, he completed a National Institutes of Health (NIH) Research Fellowship in Nuclear Cardiology / PET under Dr. K. Lance Gould, who pioneered clinical cardiac PET imaging.
