The Schoellkopf Health Center, located adjacent to Memorial Medical Center, is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility that offers short-term rehabilitation and long-term nursing and rehabilitation services.

All rooms are single occupancy, ensuring residents optimum privacy and comfort. The three-story facility is well appointed to create a homelike atmosphere. Heating and air conditioning levels are individually controlled in each room to suit personal preference. Residents are encouraged to bring their personal belongings and furnishings.

On-site services are customized to meet the individual needs of residents and persons requiring intensive short-term rehabilitation after suffering a stroke or undergoing procedures such as hip or knee surgery. Such services include physical, occupational and speech therapy, audiology and dental care.

Registered nurses are on duty 24 hours a day. Intergenerational activities take place weekly with children from Memorial Medical Center's Child Care Center.

The Schoellkopf Health Center has received numerous state and national awards for its high quality care and innovative programming.
