Domzalski, Esq., associate general counsel for the Seneca Gaming Corporation, to its board of directors during its annual meeting March 23. Mr. Domzalski, who has an extensive background in corporate and securities law, obtained his juris doctor degree from the Duke University School of Law in Durham, N.C., after graduating summa cum laude from the University at Buffalo. He is currently pursuing a master’s in business administration at the University at Buffalo School of Management. In addition to Mr. Domzalski’s general corporate and securities background, his legal experience includes significant corporate transactional work for health industry clients including academic medical centers, hospitals, physicians, physician practices and other providers. Mr. Domzalski is the second new member to join the board in the past four months. Marnie LaVigne, Ph.D., was appointed to a three-year term at the December board meeting. Dr. LaVigne is director of business development for the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences and the University at Buffalo Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technology. In that role she is responsible for creating industry/government/academic partnerships and commercial linkages that facilitate the transfer of technology from the region’s premier research institutions to economic growth and job creation in upstate New York. Dr. LaVigne is an editorial board member for Biotechnology Healthcare and Disease Management and a member of the Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Investment Board and the Board of Directors for the Women’s Business Center at Canisius College. She holds a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Rochester. |
