Heart Center, Habitat for Humanity to hold Christmas Run

The scenic Niagara River will provide the backdrop Sunday, Dec. 11, as competitive and recreational athletes line up for the Christmas 4 Mile Run/2 Mile Walk at the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center.

Presented by Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity and The Heart Center of Niagara at Memorial Medical Center, this year's event will award trophies to the top male and female finishers in 12 age categories and feature a post-race reception for all participants. The first 100 to register will also receive long-sleeved commemorative T-shirts.

Advance registration is $15. Race day registration will be $18 and begin at 9:30 a.m.
