Memorial to offer smoking cessation program in Wheatfield

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center is offering a series of smoking cessation classes in anticipation of this year’s Great American Smokeout.

Classes will be held in Wheatfield on Thursday evenings. Three sessions – on Nov. 6, Nov. 13 and Dec. 4 – will be hosted by the Wheatfield Community Center, 2790 Church Road, next to Town Hall.  A fourth session will be held Thursday, Nov. 20 – the day of the Smokeout – at the Crestwood Commons Community Center, 2600 Niagara Falls Blvd., Wheatfield.

All four sessions will begin at 6:30 p.m. with facilitator Patricia Bax, MS, RN, CASAC, teaching keys to quitting and mastery of coping skills.  To register, call 278-4604.
