Car show raises money for Child Advocacy Center

Standing in the rear from left, Freewheeler Jerry Petito; Niagara County Credit Union Council Board members Denise Waddington, Virginia Vendetti, Midge Giannini and Rosemarie Kupfer; and Freewheeler President Marty Abramson present a check for $628 to Child Advocacy Center Executive Director Ann Marie Tucker, standing in front. The check represents the proceeds from the Freewheeler’s Car Club Annual Car Show and Basket Auction, which was held at The Summit mall in Wheatfield. The Niagara County Credit Unions organized a basket auction for the event and and Dan the Man, Inc. donated commemorative T-shirts. A new participant this year was Enterprise Car Sales, which held a Used Car Tent Event and donated $1,000 -- $100 for each of the 10 cars sold that day. The Child Advocacy Center is a service of Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.
