Heart Center launches exercise wellness program
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has launched a new, medically supervised program at The Heart Center of Niagara for people seeking better physical fitness.
The Heart Center Wellness Exercise Program is designed to improve cardiovascular endurance, muscular strength, flexibility, body composition, glucose metabolism and blood pressure control.
"Our goal is to provide a structured program that will help individuals develop safe and healthy lifestyles maximize their functional independence and increase their knowledge of risk factor modification," said Christopher Fetterly, Memorial's manager of cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. "The cost is very reasonable -- only $42 payable in advance for 12 sessions."
