Home > News Room > Judith Nolan Powell elected to Memorial board Judith Nolan Powell elected to Memorial boardJudith Nolan Powell, first vice president and commercial relationship manager for HSBC Bank USA, has been elected to a three-year term on the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center board of directors.
Prior to joining HSBC, she was employed as director of public relations and development at Trocaire College. Powell holds a bachelor’s degree from SUNY Geneseo and a master’s in education from Buffalo State College. She is chairman of the board of Niagara Catholic High School; trustee of the Canisius College Women’s Business Center, where she is also former chairman of the board and current Marketing Committee chair; and serves on the Buffalo Urban League's Revolving Loan Fund Committee. A past trustee of WNY Public Broadcasting, Inc., she is a former member of the Diocese of Buffalo’s Board of Catholic Education, the nominating committee for Everywoman Opportunity Center, Inc., the Elmwood Village Association and Trocaire College. She is a former vice chair of the Buffalo Niagara Partnership’s Workforce Development Council. Powell was honored by the U.S. Small Business Association as the Women’s Business Advocate for Western New York in 2003 and was named to the prestigious HSBC Group Chairman’s Club in 2005. Both awards recognized her excellence in commercial business development and customer service. A Niagara Falls native, she lives in Grand Island with her husband, William. |
