Home > News Room > LaVigne, Clarke elected to Memorial's board of directors Dr. Marnie LaVigne, Dr. Ronald Clarke elected to Memorial's board of directorsNiagara Falls Memorial Medical Center has elected Marnie LaVigne, Ph.D., and Ronald Clarke, D.O. to its board of directors. Dr. LaVigne, who holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Rochester, is the director of business development for the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences and the University at Buffalo Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technology. In that role, she is responsible for creating industry/government/academic partnerships and commercial linkages that facilitate the transfer of technology from the region’s premier research institutions to economic growth and job creation in upstate New York. Dr. LaVigne is an editorial board member for Biotechnology Healthcare and Disease Management and a member of the Buffalo and Erie County Workforce Investment Board, Board of Directors for the Women’s Business Center at Canisius College and the Upstate New York Professional Healthcare Information Education Demonstration Project (UNYPHIED). Dr. Clarke has been a member of Memorial’s medical staff since 1985. A highly respected primary care physician whose office is in Wheatfield, he also will serve as the hospital medical staff’s president in 2009. |
