Ladies Night Out attracts enthusiastic crowd

More than 400 women were on hand Oct. 20 as Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center celebrated its first “Ladies Night Out: Pamper Your Mind and Body,” at Four Points by Sheraton, 7001 Buffalo Ave., Niagara Falls.

The free women’s health and wellness expo was held in the Rapids Room overlooking the beautiful Niagara River and featured an extensive variety of vendors, products and services for women’s health and enjoyment.  Attendees also had an opportunity to meet members of the Memorial Medical Center women’s healthcare and cardiology teams.

The evening featured a range of demonstrations and information on such topics as:

• Massage therapy
• Jewelry and ladies accessories
• Hair and makeup
• Tablescape, flower arranging and interior decorating
• Laser hair removal and acupuncture
• Health & nutrition, breast health and stress management
• “Ask the Doctor,” featuring physicians from Women’s Medicine of Niagara, Daniel Burns, MD, and Buffalo Heart Group, LLP.

A number of local vendors were on hand displaying their goods and services.

Complimentary hors d’oeuvres were served, a cash bar was available and there were plenty of prizes and giveaways. Special thanks to participating physicians, sponsors and vendors for a fabulous evening.
