Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department has been granted certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. Program certification assures patients that the program meets all essential standards of care described in the 4th Edition Guidelines for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Programs. To qualify, a program must pass review by AACVPR state and regional committees, the National Certification Committee and the AACVPR Board of Directors. Founded in 1985, the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) is dedicated to the professional development of its members through information, networking, and educational opportunities. Central to the mission is the improvement of the quality of life for patients and their families. |
