Memorial's Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation program earns certification

Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Department has been granted certification by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation.

Program certification assures patients that the program meets all essential standards of care described in the 4th Edition Guidelines for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention Programs. To qualify, a program must pass review by AACVPR state and regional committees, the National Certification Committee and the AACVPR Board of Directors.
The mission of AACVPR is to reduce morbidity, mortality and disability from cardiovascular and pulmonary diseases through education, prevention, rehabilitation, research and aggressive disease management.
