Memorial announces 2011 board appointments

The Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Board of Directors re-elected James C. Roscetti chairman and Cynthia A. Bianco vice chairperson for 2011 at its March 28 annual meeting. 

Margaret M. Toohey was re-elected secretary.  Charles G. Rader was re-elected treasurer.

Roscetti is an attorney with the Niagara Falls law firm Roscetti & DeCastro, P.C.  Bianco is the superintendent of schools for the Niagara Falls Board of Education.  Toohey is president of the Lewiston Insurance Agency.  Rader is chief executive officer of IsleChem, LLC.

Newly elected to the board was Judith Nolan Powell, first vice president and commercial relationship manager with HSBC Bank USA.  Bianco, Rader and Dr. Mark D. Perry, Memorial’s chief of radiology, were elected to new three-year terms.

Continuing on the board will be:

• Robert L. Bradley Jr., principal, Gaskill Preparatory School
• Ronald R. Campbell, chief operating officer, Washington Mills Corp.
• Jayanta Chaudhuri, M.D., president of Memorial’s medical staff
• Stephanie Williams Cowart, executive director, Niagara Falls Housing Authority
• James R. Domzalski, associate general counsel for the Seneca Gaming Corporation
• Dr. Naresh Jain, a Niagara Falls internist and gastroenterologist
• The Rev. Harvey Kelley, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church
• Don J. King, The Polly King Gallery
• Marnie LaVigne, Ph.D., director of business development for the New York State Center of Excellence in Bioinformatics & Life Sciences and the University at Buffalo Center for Advanced Biomedical and Bioengineering Technology
• Christopher Robbins, teacher, Maple Avenue Elementary School
• Joseph A. Ruffolo, Memorial’s president and chief executive officer
