Passalugo appointed to emergency management post

Anne Passalugo, MPH, RRT, has been appointed Emergency Management/Ambulance Service Coordinator at Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center.

A graduate of Erie Community College and the University at Buffalo, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology and a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in health care administration, Passalugo previously served Memorial as a respiratory therapist.

Passalugo is a former advanced emergency medical technician who holds multiple federal and state certifications in emergency planning and incident administration.  Her previous experience includes the development of pandemic influenza plans for both the Erie County Department of Health and Erie County Sheriff’s Department Jail Management Division.

In her new role, she will oversee emergency planning and disaster preparedness for the medical center and its satellite sites.
