Harris awarded Sass Scholarship

Josephine Harris has been awarded the 2009 Ruth and William O. Sass, M.D. Scholarship, given annually to a Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center employee to offset tuition for the employee’s child or children at the Memorial Child Care Center.  The award is funded through the Ruth and William O. Sass, M.D. Endowment Fund, which is administered by the Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Foundation.  Present for the awarding of the scholarship were, from left, Dr. Sass, a Niagara Falls ophthalmologist; Harris, an information specialist and labor relations coordinator in Memorial’s Human Resources Department, and her son, Ethan Bullard; Medical Center President & CEO Joseph A. Ruffolo; and Ruth Sass.
