If you are scheduled for one of the following studies, follow the instructions exactly as written. If you have any questions or feel that you cannot comply with the instructions, be sure to call your MD who scheduled the colonoscopy. Follow these instructions only if you do not have instructions from your specialist who is ordering the procedure. A Colonoscopy is done to view the colon and rectum.
