Visiting Hours

To better protect our patients and staff during the 2013 flu season, the medical center has temporarily revised its visitation policy as follows:

Only one (1) visitor at a time is permitted for patients on all nursing units and in the Emergency Department.
No one under the age of 14 will be allowed to visit any nursing unit.
Visitors to the Maternity Unit will be limited to the baby’s father and grandparents.
If you are experiencing cold symptoms or flu symptoms, please consider visiting when you are feeling better.

These precautions will remain in effect until further notice.

Visiting hours for most rooms are from noon to 8:30 p.m.

The Clinical Coordinator/Charge Nurse of each patient care area may make exceptions on an individual basis.

All visitors encouraged to help us maintain a quiet environment.

MARY C. DYSTER WOMEN'S PAVILION
Visiting hours for patients including maternity patients are from noon to 8:30 p.m. All visitors are requested to stop at the nurses’ station before entering the patient’s room.

Fathers of newborns on the maternity unit are welcome to visit from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.

PEDIATRICS
Visiting hours for pediatric patients are noon to 8:30 p.m. Parents or guardians may stay with a child at all times if desired.

HOSPICE PATIENTS
Hospice patients are allowed unlimited visitors at any time.

INTENSIVE CARE/CRITICAL CARE UNIT
One individual at a time may visit a patient's room during the following times:
11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
7 to 9 p.m.

ADULT PSYCHIATRIC UNITS
Visiting hours on A-2 and A-3 are from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
