Final "Time Out for Women's Health" event will spotlight softball April 29

Independent Health and Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center, official partners of Niagara Athletics, have presented the "Time Out for Women's Health" event series at Niagara University all school year long. The 2005-06 series will conclude on Saturday, April 29 when they, along with the Niagara University softball team, present a day full of events for children age 14 and under.

The day will begin at 11:30 a.m. with the Purple Eagles 2K Fun Run & Walk. The race will begin and end at Niagara Field, the on-campus home of Niagara University softball. Prizes, photographs and autograph opportunities with Monte the Purple Eagle will be available!

Following the race, stay and watch the Niagara softball team's doubleheader versus Fairfield beginning at noon while enjoying lunch – all courtesy of Niagara Athletics. After the games, all children in attendance will be invited to run the bases with the Purple Eagles and enjoy an hour-long skills clinic at Niagara Field with the Niagara softball team!
