About Gorge Daza MD
Dr. Daza was appointed to Roswell Park Care Network in 2024. He serves in the Department of Urology. Dr. Daza attended Universidad Militar Nueva Granada In Bogota, Colombia where he earned his medical degree in 2011. He subsequently completed his residency in Urology in 2017 at the same institution. He joined the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, NY in 2018 as an Associate Researcher at the Department of Urology where he conducted translational and clinical research in bladder and kidney cancer. In 2021, he joined Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as a Society of Urologic Oncology Fellow and completed his training in Urologic Oncology.
Dr. Daza specializes in the care of patients with general urological disorders and genitourinary cancers. He provides expertise in robot-assisted, endoscopic, and open-operative approaches.
Dr. Daza has authored and co-authored many peer-reviewed publications and abstracts on urology and genitourinary cancers. He serves as a reviewer for multiple journals, including the Journal of Urologic Oncology, the Journal of Endourology, and the World Journal of Urology.
Dr. Daza is a member of the American Urologic Association (AUA) and the Society of Urologic Oncology.
